TherapeuticLUG Is a group of adult LEGO builders  who get together monthly and build Group Displays for the public to enjoy. We alternate between the Otter Lake and Jackson Area for meetings. The Group strongly encourages display builds and workshops with our main purpose “How LEGO can be used as an art or therapeutic medium to express ones view points in life. We have public display builds with the following themes: Suicide Awareness, Therapeutic Coping Skills, Self-Love, Rainbows, Halloween, Christmas, Duplo Train, Space, Gingerbread/Candyland, Michigan Mosaics, Forest men, The LEGO Movie, Penguins/Arctic, Postapocalyptic World, Cops and Robbers/Jail, Fantasy land, Futuristic City, Waterpark, Rollercoaster/Theme park, Zoo, Castle, and Dragons. All displays can be modified or new builds can be created to meet event needs. At events we request that a play element is added for participants to enjoy a hands on experience. We have mosaic pieces (1x1 bricks), a derby style race track, and play brick as options.
